Qili Pond Covered Bridge is a Chongqing Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Qili Pond Covered Bridge is located in Qingping Village, Wenquan Town, Kaizhou District, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

In 2019, Qili Pond Covered Bridge was designated as part of the third batch of Chongqing Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government.

Wenquan Town: formerly known as Wentang Well, is an ancient market town with a history of over two thousand years. It is situated at 103°31′ east longitude and 31°22′ north latitude. The terrain is mainly mountainous and hilly, with some river valley terraces. The Wenquan anticline stretches east-west, while the Dongli River runs north-south. The average elevation ranges from 400 to 700 meters, with the highest point being Jigongliang at 1,216 meters in Leyuan Village (formerly Tianchi Village), and the lowest at only 190 meters along the Dongli River in Baiyu Village. The Dongli River and its tributaries divide the area into five major sections. Larger river valley plains along the reservoir include Xianba, Dongbaxi, Xujia Ba, and Lijia Ba.
