Guanyin Gorge National Forest Park is a national-level forest park.

Guanyin Gorge National Forest Park is located in the central part of Beibei District, Chongqing, within the urban area of Beibei, at the southern section of the Guanyin Gorge anticline. The park consists of three scenic areas—Zhangfei Ridge, Jigong Ridge, and Fenghuang Ridge—distributed on both sides of the Jialing River’s Guanyin Gorge. It currently features 10 natural attractions and 11 cultural sites. The park boasts magnificent forests with rich seasonal colors, thousands of bamboo groves, ancient trees with rugged beauty, macaques calling through the gorge, and egrets soaring in flocks. Long ridges stretch across the landscape with verdant peaks, while the majestic and precipitous Guanyin Gorge showcases karst landform scenery with vividly shaped rock formations. The sunrise and sunset glow brilliantly, the bright moon and snow offer serene beauty, and misty clouds create a dreamlike spectacle. The mighty Jialing River connects two mountains, mountain streams rush down with waterfalls and springs, Longju Flat Lake paints a poetic scene, and scattered mountain ponds look like emeralds. Historical and cultural relics abound along Zhangfei Path, Tianfu Stockade, and Zhuxian Gate, while religious heritage is rich at Longche Temple, Daoming Temple, and Guanyin Pavilion. Landmarks such as Chaoyang Bridge, the Xiangyu Railway Bridge, and the Suinyu High-Speed Railway Bridge reflect historical changes, and the picturesque views of the Jialing River, the cityscape of Beibei, and the rural landscape form naturally beautiful backdrops.
