Beibei Museum

Beibei Museum is a national advanced collective in the cultural relics system. It oversees six cultural heritage conservation units (memorial halls), namely the Lu Zuofu Memorial Hall, the Four Generations Under One Roof Memorial Hall, the Liang Shiqiu Memorial Hall, the Yan Yangchu Memorial Hall, the Exhibition Hall of the Autonomous Experimental Zone for Honored Soldiers During the War of Resistance Against Japan, and the Former Site of National Fudan University in Chongqing. Covering an area of 8,832 square meters with an exhibition space of 1,962.5 square meters, the museum houses a total of 15,000 cultural relics (sets). In 2013, it was rated as a National Third-Class Museum by the National Cultural Heritage Administration. Guided by the new development philosophy of "Preservation, Inheritance, Service, and Education," Beibei Museum strives to become a hub for exhibitions, a corridor of cultural heritage, a platform for research, and a classroom for learning—creating an excellent public cultural and social service environment for residents.
