Jianjian Peak is located on the west bank of the Daning River, about 5 kilometers from the county town. Two towering peaks stand facing each other, rising abruptly from the ground and shaped like a pair of scissors thrusting into the sky. Surrounded by shimmering blue waters, the peaks appear to open and close when viewed from afar across the water, resembling scissors cutting through a kaleidoscope of colorful clouds. Jianjian Peak not only boasts beautiful scenery and harmonious integration with its surrounding landscape, but it is also steeped in legend. During the Western Han Dynasty, when Wang Mang seized power and led his troops in pursuit of Liu Xiu, at a critical moment, the Jade Emperor threw down a pair of scissors that transformed into this mountain peak, blocking Wang Mang and saving Liu Xiu. Below Jianjian Peak, stretches of vibrant flowers bloom in brilliant hues; the peak stands quietly in a tranquil "Land of Peach Blossoms" — free from noise, pollution, overcrowding, and chaos.
