Red Flower Cold Spring Lake

Red Flower Cold Spring Lake is located about 500 meters at the entrance of Honghua Ridge Village, southeast of Longmen Town. The lake covers an area of approximately 130 acres, with water sourced from tributaries of the Jiuwentang Cold Spring and underground springs, making it exceptionally clean and high-quality.

The Red Flower Cold Spring Lake Eco-Farm began construction in the second half of 2013 and has taken 18 months so far. The plan is to develop the eco-farm into a mid-to-high-end rural leisure destination, integrating farmhouse dining, yachts, cold spring soaking, swimming, fishing, and accommodation. To date, the project has seen cumulative investment of 4 million yuan, with completed features including one restaurant, 300 meters of boardwalks, a 20-acre water source conservation area, a 1,000-square-meter slope protection embankment, one dock, seven pleasure boats, 36 fishing spots, one swimming pool, and six fish therapy pools. The overall shape of the eco-farm construction is beginning to take form. On the eve of this year’s Spring Festival, Red Flower Cold Spring Lake began trial operations. It currently receives about 100 visitors per day, with foot traffic of around 500 people. As visibility increases, visitor numbers are expected to grow further.

Moving forward, our town plans to attract investment and increase input to further develop guest room facilities within the eco-farm, gradually enhancing tourism services such as accommodation.
