Invested and built by Haikou Port Group Company, it is a state-owned enterprise. Located 12 kilometers south of Nada Town, Danzhou City, within the picturesque and lush Blue Yang Hot Spring Tourism Resort, it covers an area of 40 acres.

Officially opened on September 8, 1998, Blue Yang Hot Spring Resort was officially certified as a “Three-Star International” resort hotel on January 18, 2001. The resort currently offers 148 spacious and comfortable guest rooms, including 99 standard rooms, 13 deluxe standard rooms, 12 deluxe honeymoon rooms, 5 deluxe suites, 1 business suite, and 18 luxury garden villas in the Hot Spring Garden. Facilities also include a large hot spring swimming pool, hot spring massage pools, and rain tree soaking pools. There is a multifunctional conference hall equipped with advanced teaching and conferencing tools (such as multimedia projectors and multi-purpose video displays), capable of hosting 250–300 people simultaneously, as well as smaller meeting rooms. Leisure and entertainment options are abundant, featuring an elegant Seaport Tide Song and Dance Hall, Seagull Song and Dance Hall, foot reflexology center, table tennis hall, floodlit basketball court, beach volleyball court, fishing by the little bridge, billiards room, and outdoor fitness areas. The resort has evolved into a comprehensive hotel integrating accommodation, dining, business, conferences, and entertainment, with first-class management and full facilities.

Blue Yang Hot Spring has been documented since the Ming Dynasty's Wanli era, renowned for its high-quality radon-rich water. It contains metasilicic acid and a variety of trace elements beneficial to human health, meeting the standards of medical thermal mineral water. Recognized nationally as a premium health hot spring, it is approved for a daily extraction volume of 8,000 tons. It boasts the greatest water volume, best quality, and highest temperature among hot springs. First marvel: it’s edible. With a scalding temperature of 93°C, the colorless, odorless, and non-toxic hot spring water can boil eggs and be used for hot pot. Paired with fragrant rice, greens, and “Fei Zi Xiao” lychees grown in the hot spring water, it becomes a heavenly feast. Second marvel: it’s for soaking. The medicinal soaking pools, rich in radon, can inspire creativity and contain multiple minerals beneficial to health, helping prevent and treat various ailments—making it a perfect spot for recuperation and leisure. Third marvel: it’s a sight to behold. The hot spring park is a rare wonder in the world—just a stone’s throw apart lie the bizarrely juxtaposed hot and cold springs, with steam curling around bamboo groves and butterflies fluttering among flowers, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere.

The area boasts beautiful waters and unique springs. To the south lies Hainan’s largest reservoir, the Songtao Reservoir, with its vast, crystal-clear blue waters once praised by Premier Zhou as the “Pearl of the Island.” To the north is the Lotus Pond artificial lake, which, though smaller, is serene and picturesque, nestled among green trees with rippling blue waters. The Lotus Mountain area is densely crisscrossed with streams and springs that are high in temperature, large in volume, and maintain constant temperature and quality—making them excellent medicinal hot springs. Among them, the cold and hot springs are separated by just a stone’s throw, with a stark difference in temperature, making them a wonder of the world.
