Protected area: Northeastern kiln site — an area extending 10 meters outward from the base contour lines of both kiln sites, covering 8,508 square meters.

Dongcheng Town: A township under the jurisdiction of Danzhou City. Established as Dongcheng Township in 1950, later changed to a commune. In 1983, it became a district, and was re-established as a township in 1986. Located in the northwest part of the city, it is 22.5 kilometers from the municipal government. Covering an area of 116.5 square kilometers with a population of 22,000, it is traversed by the Na (Da)–Xin (Ying) Highway. The township administers ten village committees: Baoshe, Jiayue, Gaorong, Saijiao, Pingdi, Dongcheng, Wenbai, Fanchen, Hongshan, and Yabi.
