Qionghai Duoxi Cultural Valley Scenic Area is located in Yongcun Village on Xinghai South Road, Qionghai (on the old road from downtown Qionghai to Bo’ao). The scenic area was built at great expense to the national tourism administration’s 3A-level standards, covering an area of over 160 acres. Established in 1986, it has been honored as one of “Hainan’s 10 Most Distinctive Scenic Areas in 2011” and a “Hainan Thousand-Mile Island Culture Demonstration Site.” It is the only theme-based scenic spot in Hainan dedicated to the local culture of Wanquan River, the mother river of Hainan.
