Lu's Residence is located in Bo'ao Town, Qionghai City, dating back to the Republican era. It is a cultural heritage site protected by Hainan Province.

Protected area: Extending 6.67 meters eastward, 6.98 meters southward, 1.8 meters westward, and 0.8 meters northward from the edge of the structure itself, covering a total area of 2016.87 square meters.

Wang Wenming, courtesy name Qinpu, also known as En’an, was born on November 1, 1894, into a farming family in Yiliang Village, the Fourth District of Luehui County (now Yangjiang Town, Qionghai City), in eastern Hainan. His father, Wang Shouren, worked as a rural private school teacher. His mother, Madam Chen, was a diligent and virtuous farmer’s wife. In his childhood, Wang Wenming studied at a private school with his father. At the age of 14, he passed the entrance exam for the county-run Lecheng Higher Primary School. After graduating from primary school, he had to drop out due to financial difficulties at home, and later helped his elder brother, Wang Wenyuan, run a small cloth shop near Longjiang Market in their hometown.
