Beihai Dajiangbu is located in Dajiang Village, Yintan Town, Yinhai District, Beihai City. It can be reached by turning left onto Xinxiji Avenue from Guangdong South Road, then right onto Lao Yintan Road. It is only 4 kilometers away from downtown Beihai and Yintan Beach. This is an ecological nature scenic area. In the 1980s, this place was still a vast camphor forest, ancient village ruins, as well as rivers, ditches, beaches, small lakes, and wetlands. In the 1990s, some wasteland was reclaimed by villagers to grow longan, and some small lakes were turned into fish ponds. It was discovered and developed by developers in 2004, and was completed and opened to the public in December 2005.

Covering an area of 73,260 square meters, Beihai Dajiangbu features small bridges over flowing water, winding paths leading to serene spots, towering ancient trees, unique architecture, and exotic cultural elements. The area is divided into four major sections: the Dai Ethnic Culture Zone, the Maritime Ancient Ship Culture Corridor, the Mysterious Settlement Zone, and the Shopping & Leisure Zone. The Dai Ethnic Culture Zone showcases the aquatic life of the Dai people, who have traditionally made a living through fishing, along with their distinctive flower boat marriage customs. The Maritime Ancient Ship Culture Corridor displays ship models from various dynasties, national heroes, as well as merchant and pirate ships, many of which have been awarded national patent certifications. Their peculiar shapes and diverse functions are truly breathtaking. The Mysterious Settlement Zone blends the folk customs, cultures, and traditions of multiple ethnic groups, creating an astonishing and marvelous atmosphere. Moreover, the treehouses, mushroom houses, pigsty-shaped huts, boat-shaped houses, chieftain houses, gathering halls, union shelters, hunting sheds, flying-cross sheds, fishing ponds, and celebration stages built from straw, thatch, weeds, bamboo, vines, tree bark, mud, stones, and miscellaneous wood are scattered throughout, forming idyllic scenes of a return to a primitive paradise that captivate all who see them. The main attractions and participatory activities at Beihai Dajiangbu include hunting flight performances, face painting, straw hat dances, face smearing, large ear piercing, blackened teeth beauty, eating soil, chewing tree bark, playing mountain string instruments, fishing with forks, blessing dances, wild boar trapping, eating raw meat, drinking raw blood, walking on hot coals, stepping on bamboo spikes, drum dances, long-haired women’s dances, cattle-targeting dances, and torch-burning dances. These mysterious and unique, rare ethnic survival and lifestyle practices offer a powerful visual stimulation and a profound emotional impact. The annual "Maritime Culture Festival" and "Torch Festival" attract large numbers of tourists.
