Attraction Introduction

Adjacent to the Beihai Silver Beach Resort area, the beach here is pristine and gently sloping, making it a great spot to enjoy the sunset. One of Beihai’s landmarks, the giant steel ball sculpture, is located right here.

Right at the entrance of the park is a square, where you’ll be greeted by the massive stainless steel sculpture titled “Tide.” Seven fairies holding olive branches appear to be flying and dancing around a giant 23-meter-diameter steel ball, exuding artistic beauty.

One of the most entertaining things about visiting Beach Park is the abundance of sand crabs. Strolling along the beach, you’ll often spot their nimble figures, hidden burrows, and little sand balls scattered around the entrances. They quickly duck into their holes when people approach, but emerge again once it’s quiet to continue rolling their sand balls — a truly amusing sight. Many children can also be seen crouching on the sand, digging for crabs.

You can also enjoy various water sports at Beach Park, such as motorboats and speedboats. Swimming in the sea is allowed here, and safety lines are marked for swimmers.

Special Tips

There are many pedicab drivers soliciting passengers at the park entrance, and overcharging can occur. It’s recommended to agree on a price before getting in.
