Dongyuan Family Liquor Industrial Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Dongyuan Family Liquor Industrial Park is located within the Dongyuan Family Liquor Factory compound on Gaopo Road, Hepu County, Beihai City. It features eco-circular industrial chain sightseeing and industrial tourism service projects, offering high ornamental, touristic, and participatory experience value.

The Dongyuan Enterprise Group was founded in September 1986 and is located in the northern suburbs of Hepu County, Hepu City, Guangxi. It currently covers an area of 1,800 mu and consists of four entities: Dongyuan Family Liquor Factory, Dongyuan Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., Dongyuan Restaurant, and Dongyuan Jewelry Co., Ltd., employing over 600 people. Without any government funding, bank loans, shareholder fundraising, or special preferential policies, the group has achieved rolling development through its own capabilities. In recent years, it has produced thousands of tons of health liquor annually, along with thousands of live pigs and beef cattle, tens of thousands of free-range chickens, western ducks, and lion-head geese, hundreds of thousands of pounds of freshwater fish, and hundreds of thousands of pounds of pollution-free fruits and vegetables. In addition, its hotel, restaurant, and tea house businesses generate annual sales of over 100 million yuan, with profits and taxes exceeding 20 million yuan. It is one of the first industrial tourism demonstration sites in Guangxi. Located in the northern suburbs of Hepu County, Guangxi, it is accessible via the Yu-Zhan Expressway and National Highway 209, approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Beihai. It is a distinctive tourism brand integrating health liquor production, ecological farming and breeding circular economy, sightseeing, pastoral experiences, catering, and leisure entertainment.

The park is divided into three zones: the health liquor production area, the ecological garden, and Dongyuan Restaurant. The production area, shaded by green trees and pleasant in environment, is the largest health liquor production base in Guangxi.

This zone was established in 1995 and currently covers an area of 150,000 square meters, with factory buildings spanning 50,000 square meters. It produces Dongyuan Family Liquor, one of the “Three Treasures of Zhuxiang.” The area includes a Hall of Honor, displaying photos, texts, and artifacts recounting the storied connection between Dongyuan Family Liquor and China’s national women’s volleyball team and other national sports teams, as well as records of the distillery’s development history and physical specimens of the raw materials used in the liquor. The production line for health liquor here, blending ancient and modern elements, meets GMP standards for health foods. Thousands of pottery jars, each capable of holding over one ton of liquor, create a majestic sight comparable to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.

Another highlight of this zone is that the rooftops of all factory buildings are covered with bougainvillea, creating a stunning sea of flowers in winter and spring. The ecological garden is adjacent to the production area and was built to handle production waste. It currently covers about 1,200 mu. The garden houses a cattle and pig farm with a capacity of one thousand heads, a poultry farm with tens of thousands of free-range chickens, western ducks, and hybrid swans, and a 200-mu freshwater fish farm. It also cultivates over ten thousand fruit trees of more than twenty varieties, 500 mu of high-quality forage grass, 50 mu of pollution-free vegetables, and various exotic flowers and plants. There are also populations of wild animals such as ostriches and peacocks, as well as more than a dozen super-large biogas digesters, each with a capacity of 100 cubic meters. The cattle farm is the most comprehensive breeding base for world-class premium cattle breeds in Guangxi. The garden features winding paths, shaded willows, blooming flowers in all seasons, ripening fruits, birdsong, and leaping fish. It is ideal for tourists interested in sightseeing, fishing, picnicking, barbecuing, leisure, and entertainment.

History: Dongyuan Family Liquor originates from the ancestral secret recipe of the Huang family at Dongyuan Restaurant in Hepu County, Beihai City, Guangxi. With a history of over 100 years, this product is made by long-term soaking of over thirty types of animal and plant medicinal ingredients—including pearl snail meat, seahorse, sea dragon, sea snake, deer tendon, deer antler, turtle shell, earthworm, gecko, longan, eucommia, and horny goat weed—in small-distilled pure rice wine, followed by scientific refining. It contains over twenty types of amino acids, multiple beneficial trace elements, and abundant reducing sugars. It is free from ——, hormones, and stimulants. With low alcohol content, good taste, and the option to add ice cubes, it does not cause a hangover and is a purely natural, nutritious health product. For over a decade, the Dongyuan Enterprise has been honored by the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and relevant departments with titles such as “Guangxi Outstanding Science and Technology Enterprise,” “Guangxi Private Enterprise Major Tax Contributor,” “Guangxi Advanced Private Enterprise,” and “Guangxi Integrity Unit.” However, in recent years, the sales performance of Dongyuan Family Liquor has remained lukewarm. 2.
