The Hepu Datian Flower Valley Rural Tourism Area has been rated as a four-star rural tourism area in Guangxi. "Datian Flower Valley" is the first poverty alleviation industrial base rural tourism area in Beihai City and the only one in the city themed around bougainvillea flowers. It integrates functions such as bougainvillea cultivation, sales, science education, study tours, dining, accommodation, sightseeing, amusement, and fruit picking.

The tourism area is located in Datian Village, Shiwan Town, in the northern part of Hepu County, over 60 kilometers from downtown Beihai. It lies east of the Sanbei Expressway and is about 2 kilometers from the planned Chang Le Expressway interchange exit. It is 18 kilometers from the Shiwan North Expressway exit, offering convenient transportation. The tourism area is built to the standards of a five-star rural tourism area in the autonomous region, with a planned area of 594 mu. Currently, the first phase covering 278 mu has been completed, with an investment of over 10 million yuan.

In Datian Flower Valley, a 300-meter-long zip line and a 150-meter-long rainbow slide are particularly eye-catching. The scenic area is adorned with various bougainvillea sculptures themed around the 12 zodiac animals. The colorful bougainvilleas are in full bloom, while the terraced planting belts are laden with passion fruits. Facilities such as an ecological parking lot, campsites, barbecue areas, and a children’s playground are all available.

Terraced planting belts built along the mountain slopes are covered with bougainvilleas of various colors and passion fruits, creating a magnificent landscape where mountains and waters blend with blooming flowers and fragrant fruits. The tourism area boasts well-developed infrastructure, including an ecological parking lot of over 3,000 square meters, a visitor center, flower valley homestays, a flower house restaurant, and A-grade tourist toilets, providing visitors with convenient, comfortable, and warm high-quality services.

What was once a poverty-stricken village plagued by difficult transportation, water access, schooling, and electricity has now become a social media hotspot fragrant with fruits and melons.
