Also known as "Jian Shui Meandering," it originates at the foot of Jian Mountain in Sanhe Village, Du'an Township. Its riverbed winds like a ribbon, and the water is as clear and white as a mirror. Key scenic spots include Jian'ai Pond (now the site of the Sanhe Hydropower Station), Little West Lake, and Xiangshui Waterfall. Zhao Yi once wrote a poem titled "Xiangshui Pond Waterfall": "Alas, it lies far beyond the barbarian borderlands, never competing in fame with Tiantai and Lushan..." highly praising the stunning sight of the Jian River’s cascading waterfall. The Xiangshui Waterfall area stretches over 400 meters, with four waterfall pools, each about 30 meters wide and spaced roughly 100 meters apart. Along the banks, rice paddies are neatly aligned, and the rocky shoals are covered with emerald Nostoc flagelliforme resembling green pearls. Water plunges from cliffs dozens of meters high, producing a thunderous roar, blooming like plum blossoms, and shrouded in mist. At sunrise, golden rainbows arch across the scene—an incomparably beautiful sight.
