The Xiangjiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Xiangzhou County is located in Xiangzhou County, Laibin City. Built around water resources and hydraulic engineering such as the Ancient Xiang Hot Springs, Cold Springs, and the Xiang River, it is classified as a natural river-lake type water conservancy scenic area. The scenic area spans 54.43 square kilometers, with water bodies covering 29.04 square kilometers. The area’s Xiang River, Crystal River, Luoxiu River, Beishan River, and Shixiang River all feature high water quality and abundant flow, along with a superior ecological environment, rich pastoral scenery, and abundant cultural landscapes. The scenic area focuses on developing hot spring wellness retreats, cool spring leisure and entertainment, and riverside business activities along the Xiang River, forming a fully functional and well-equipped urban waterfront landscape belt and industrial zone. In its development, the scenic area adheres to the principles of protecting water resources, restoring aquatic ecosystems, building beautiful landscapes, and improving living environments, achieving an organic unity of ecological, economic, and social benefits.
