The Hall of Virtue and Ethics

The Hall of Virtue and Ethics at Liuzhou Confucius Temple is located behind the Dacheng Hall. It features an upper square and lower circular structure, with double eaves and a pointed roof topped with grey glazed tiles. The hall stands 22.5 meters tall and measures 21.6 × 21.6 meters in width.

The outer corridor is enclosed by white marble railings, with purple copper-clad pillars engraved with cloud-and-dragon patterns. The column capitals are adorned with taotie motifs, while the bracket sets are made of purple copper. The ceiling panels are embossed with a design of two dragons playing with a pearl. The interior caisson ceiling and doors/windows are decorated with precious nanmu wood and feature antique-style painted designs, giving the building a unique architectural style.
