The Da'ao Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Da'ao Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is located on the mountainside of Xianggong’ao (a local name) in Da'ao Village, Shiqiao Village Committee, Shigou Town. The inscription on the monument reads “Revolutionary Martyrs’ Monument” and “Introduction.” It faces southeast and is situated approximately 500 meters from Shangjing Village in Shiqiao Village Committee. It is a monument dedicated to unnamed martyrs. After the liberation, local authorities conducted an investigation and found that the true names, hometowns, birthdates, and military units of the fallen could not be identified. It is only known that one evening before the liberation, when the Red Army passed through the area, they engaged in fierce combat with local armed forces. The battle lasted until almost dawn, during which three people—a man, a woman, and a child who had been traveling with the Red Army—were killed. After the Red Army withdrew, the local community buried all three bodies together in a joint grave, creating a shared tomb to facilitate remembrance. In 2009, the Sihui Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau allocated funds for the maintenance of the cemetery, and Shigou Town has since designated it as a patriotic and revolutionary education base for primary and middle school students.

It lies in the lower reaches of the Sui River, bordering Xiamao Town and Chengzhong Subdistrict Office to the east, Huangtian Town to the north, Gaoyao City and Guangning County to the west, and Dengcun Town to the south. The town enjoys well-developed transportation, with Provincial Highway S4 and the Sui River running through it. All villages are connected by cement roads, and waterway transport can reach various destinations in the Pearl River Delta and along the Xijiang River.
