The Sihui Anti-Japanese War Martyrs Monument is located in Zhongshan Park, Chengzhong Community, Chengzhong Subdistrict. Constructed in the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it commemorates the soldiers who sacrificed their lives while defending Mafang, Sihui, during the Anti-Japanese War in the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939). The monument site spans around 56 square meters and faces south. The main structure is a four-sided frustum-shaped pillar, standing 6 meters tall, with the front side inscribed in intaglio with the words “Monument to the Anti-Japanese War Martyrs.” The square base is 1.86 meters high and made of granite, engraved with the names of those who erected the monument and the date of its establishment. The pedestal is square, measuring 7.5 meters on each side, and 0.64 meters high, surrounded by a 0.5-meter-high railing on all four sides, each opening 1.3 meters wide. In front of the monument stands a British-made iron cannon. Today, the monument holds significant historical value and practical importance for researching Sihui’s wartime history and conducting patriotic education.

In 1986, the Sihui Anti-Japanese War Martyrs Monument was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Sihui County.
