The Foundling Home is a cultural heritage site protected at the Hunan Provincial level.

Foundling Home: A provincial-level cultural heritage site located in Nanzheng Street Community, Hongqi Road Subdistrict. It was built in 1932 by the Italian Catholic Church to house Chinese orphans. The building features a Sino-European architectural style, faces west and sits eastward. It is a two-story structure with large blue brick walls and small blue tiles, featuring a central corridor with paired rooms opening on either side, totaling 22 rooms. The building covers a floor area of 670 square meters. The design is uniquely elegant, with exquisitely crafted clay sculptures and lifelike floral and bird patterns, and is relatively well-preserved.
