The Liaoshi Ancestral Hall, a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit, is located in Zhentian Village, Zhentian Township, Dongkou County, Hunan Province. It was first built during the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty (1403–1424), renovated in the ninth year of the Chongzhen era (1636), restored in the tenth year of the Qianlong era of the Qing Dynasty (1745), and further repaired in the eighteenth year of the Daoguang era (1838) and the sixth year of the Republic of China (1917). Covering an area of 1,430 m², it was designated as a “National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit” by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China on May 3, 2013.
