[Longtan River Scenic Area] A national AAAA-level tourist attraction. Located in Yangwei Town, Yunxi County, it lies at the intersection of two provinces (Hubei and Shaanxi) and three counties (Yunxi, Yunyang District, and Baihe County). The scenic area extends 32 kilometers from east to west and 2 kilometers from north to south, spanning an area of 64 square kilometers. It is closely linked to the Xiangyu Railway, Laobai Highway, and the Han River waterway, with three train stations—Baihe, Hujia Ying, and Jiangjunhe—facing the scenic area. The site is 98 kilometers from Shiyan and 10 kilometers from Baihe County, offering very convenient transportation. The Longtan River Tourist Scenic Area is adorned with ancient and natural mountains, rocks, cliffs, valleys, caves, as well as trees, vines, flowers, grasses, fruits, bamboos, and cultural landmarks such as ancient architectural complexes. Its natural scenery is stunning, its attractions distinctive, its style ancient and rustic, and the air cool and fresh. There are over 60 scenic spots, including Sky Light Seam, Milky Way Waterfall, Dragon Maiden Bathing, Dragon Pool Moonlight, Dragon Son Drumming, Old Residence of Gongye, and the Thousand-Year Ancient Town.

Discount Policy: Seniors aged 60–70 with valid ID, students with valid student IDs, children between 1.2–1.5 meters tall, and military personnel with valid active-duty non-commissioned officer certificates all enjoy a 50% discount during the same period. Visitors from Yunxi County can enjoy a discounted ticket price of 50 RMB per person all year round upon presenting valid ID. Free Admission Policy: Journalists with press cards at any level, travel agency manager qualification certificates, children under 1.2 meters tall, people with disabilities holding disability certificates, and seniors over 70 years old with valid ID all enjoy free admission. The scenic area ticket includes insurance fees (Pacific Life Tourist Accident Insurance).

The distance from Shiyan to Longtan River Scenic Area is 77 kilometers, with an estimated drive time of 2.5 hours. Visitors can take a bus from Shiyan Sanyan Bus Station to Yunxi via National Highway 316, then transfer to reach the scenic area after arriving in Yangwei Town. For those driving, depart from Shiyan, take National Highway 316 to Yangwei Town, and then proceed to Longtan River Scenic Area.
