Yunxi County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism site and a national defense education base.

【Yunxi County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery Red Tourism Area】A national AAA-level tourist attraction. Located three kilometers north of Yunxi County, it is the resting place of 24 martyrs from the 12th Brigade of the 4th Column of the Chen (Geng) Xie (Fuzhi) Corps, including Huang Juncai and Fu Jinguì. After multiple expansions and renovations, it has now been developed into a red education base consisting of the martyrs' cemetery and a traditional education memorial hall. The cemetery is based on 24 martyrs' tombs, in front of which stands a majestic monument. The site is developed in tiers, with the main level featuring the 24 martyrs' graves. The traditional education memorial hall uses popular materials such as KT board and titanium panels; in terms of presentation, it employs three-dimensional and display window designs; in color scheme, revolutionary historical stories are mainly presented in black-and-white photos, while modern Yunxi is shown in color photos, highlighting the characteristics of Yunxi with selections such as "Yunxi’s Superlatives" and "Shiyan Region’s (Hubei Province) Top Ten." It displays nearly 300 photos covering four phases: the Red Army in Yunxi, the New Fourth Army in Yunxi, the liberation of Yunxi, and today’s Yunxi. It also houses nearly 100 military artifacts such as hand grenades, medical books, and battle swords. Additionally, audiovisual projection equipment is used to organically integrate historical materials with the content of the memorial hall, creating dynamic documentary films that authentically record the heroic history of older-generation proletarian revolutionaries such as Xu Xiangqian, He Long, Li Xiannian, Cheng Zihua, Xu Shiyou, and Chen Geng fighting in Yunxi, vividly recreating the revolutionary struggle scenes of those years.
