The Liu Family Ancestral House is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Located in Junjiahe Village, Jianchi Township, Yunxi County, it is a Qing Dynasty building. The structure faces south, has a rectangular layout, a symmetrical design, two courtyards with wing rooms, and covers an area of about 600 square meters. The walls are made of grey bricks laid in a basket-weave pattern with exposed mortar, featuring a single-eave flush gable roof, wooden beams, a roof covered with small blue tiles, and dry-laid grey tiles along the ridges. The interior is paved with blue bricks, and the courtyards are paved with bluestone slabs. The main house has five bays across the front, while the wing rooms on either side of the rear courtyard each have two bays. The front hall’s main gate is recessed in a traditional inverted-V shape, with stone lattice windows on the side bays; the middle hall’s gate is also recessed and fitted with a stone door frame, with stone lattice windows installed on the side and end bays. The doors and windows of the rear hall are all wooden, carved with figures, stories, flowers, and birds. This building features a rigorous layout and makes extensive use of wood carving and stone engraving techniques, making it a typical example of Qing Dynasty residential architecture in Yunxi County and of high research value.
