The Ancient Fortified City is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hubei Province.

Ancient Fortified City

Located in Lingshan Village, Liangshuihe Town, Danjiangkou City, its exact period is unknown. At the mountaintop, there remains an irregular circular stone wall with a circumference of 544 meters, a base width of 1.3 meters, a top width of 0.9 meters, and a height of about 4 meters. The foundations of four city gates—east, west, south, and north—still exist, with gate openings 2.1 meters wide. (Third Batch)
