The Qianhuchong Vernacular Dwellings are a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Qianhuchong Vernacular Dwellings

Located in Qianhuchong Village, Shili Subdistrict, Guangshui City, these dwellings were built during the Xianfeng era of the Qing Dynasty. They face south, cover an area of 2,840 square meters, and feature a brick-and-wood structure with 77 rooms. The doors, windows, and railings are adorned with carvings of flowers, birds, animals, and human figures. The architectural complex has distinct regional characteristics and is an important physical example for studying Hubei’s vernacular architecture. (Fifth Batch)
