Stele Commemorating the Reconstruction of the Xianning Embankment and Shijian Weir

The Stele Commemorating the Reconstruction of the Xianning Embankment is located at the Chibi-managed section of the Siyi Public Embankment in Caijiadian, Panwan Town, Jiayu County. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, the stele documents the reconstruction of the Siyi Public Embankment and contains a total of 844 characters. The Shijian Weir is situated in the middle section of Baishi Port in Yanxia Village, Bani Town, Chongyang County. It is a water conservancy project initially constructed during the Tang Dynasty and later rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. Built using square granite blocks bonded with lime mortar, it measures 185 meters in length, 16 meters in width, and 6 meters in height. A stele from the third year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty, inscribed with “Reconstruction of the Shijian Weir,” is preserved on-site. (Fourth Batch)
