The Xiajiazhai Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Xiajiazhai Site

Located to the south of Xiajiazhai Bay in Yangpeng Village, Lidian Town, Anlu City, it is a Neolithic site. The area covers approximately 300,000 square meters, with a cultural layer about 2 meters thick. Collected pottery fragments are predominantly made of gray clay, with polished black pottery as the next most common, and a small amount of red clay pottery; decorations include basket patterns, grid patterns, incised lines, added ridge patterns, and perforations; vessel shapes include tripods, bean-shaped vessels, bowls, plates, jars, basins, and pot-like containers. It belongs to the Qujialing culture. (Second Batch)
