The Yujiagang Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Yujiagang Site

Located in Yujiagang Village, Fushui Town, Anlu City, this is a Neolithic-period site. It has an almost square layout, with sides approximately 600 meters long, covering an area of about 360,000 square meters, and a cultural layer about 3 meters thick. Artifacts collected include stone axes, stone adzes, and pottery shards. The pottery is mainly coarse, mixed with sand, followed by fine clay; the colors are predominantly gray, followed by black; decorative patterns include string patterns, appliqué bands, and others; vessel forms include tripods, basins, cups, and spinning whorls. This site is a large-scale prehistoric settlement of significant academic value.
