Wanshuidun Site

The Wanshuidun Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

[500 meters south of Xihuan'guguan, Huan'guguan Village, Nanhu Subdistrict Office, Macheng City · Neolithic Age, Zhou Dynasty · Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit]

The site covers an area of approximately 3,000 square meters with a cultural layer about 2 meters thick. Stone adzes and pottery shards have been collected here. Neolithic pottery shards are predominantly sandy red-brown pottery, followed by sandy gray pottery, with a small amount of sandy red-bodied black-glazed pottery and sandy red pottery. The decorations include cord marks and applied ridge patterns. Pottery forms include li tripods and jars.
