The Jinluojia Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Jinluojia Site

A Neolithic to Zhou dynasty site located in Xintianpu Village and Yedian Village, Songbu Town, Macheng City, covering an area of approximately 130,000 square meters. Remains of Western Zhou city walls are visible on the ground, with a moat surrounding the city. The cultural layer is about 2 meters thick and rich in content. Previous excavations have uncovered important features such as ash pits and tombs, yielding a large number of artifacts. This site holds significant value for the study of the region’s historical and cultural development. (Fifth Batch)
