Nanmenhe Garden Scenic Area

Nanmenhe Garden is located in the central part of Qianjiang City's garden urban area, connecting seven major and minor roads including Jianghan Road, Qianyang Avenue, Zhanghua Middle Road, Garden Road, Dongfeng Road, and Hengdi Road. It is an open, modern recreational space that showcases the characteristics of a water town garden. The planning and design scheme for the Nanmenhe construction project was selected through a bidding process, with four design firms participating in the competition. The proposals were displayed publicly, reviewed by experts and leaders, and ultimately, the plan prepared by Wuhan Landscape Planning, Architecture & Design Institute won the bid. This plan highlights the style of a water town garden city in its planning philosophy. In terms of construction, it follows the principles of utilization, excavation, innovation, and enhancement, creating landscapes based on greenery, water features, and terrain, upgrading the existing landforms and features. The style combines both a modern vibe and classic garden charm, integrating leisure, entertainment, and fitness.
