The Chenjiazhuang Site is a protected cultural heritage site of Hubei Province.

Chenjiazhuang Site

Located in Xiwancun Village, Haokou Town, Qianjiang City, this is a heritage site from the Eastern Zhou, Han, and Song dynasties. It is an irregular rectangle oriented from north to south, measuring 550 meters in length and 510 meters in width, covering an area of approximately 190,000 square meters, with a cultural layer about 0.9 to 1.2 meters thick. Surface-collected artifacts include Eastern Zhou vessels such as urns, basins, cups, jars, and dou, Han dynasty basins, jars, and drainage pipes, as well as Song dynasty coarse-textured roof tiles, glazed pottery jars, and ceramic bowl fragments. The site covers a large area, has relatively rich content, and holds significant academic value.
