With a total area of 3,680 hectares, the Dongling Mountain Ecotourism Area is divided into four major scenic zones: the Dongling Mountain Scenic Area, the Tasi Scenic Area, and the Beiling Mountain Scenic Area, totaling 160

attractions. The area features 1,840 hectares of forest with a clear vertical distribution, mainly composed of birch trees as well as linden, oak, cypress, and pine. The main peak reaches an elevation of 2,303 meters, making it the highest peak in the capital region. Surrounded by layered peaks, rugged rocks, and diverse shapes, the area boasts famous scenic spots such as Erfo Mountain, White Bear Ridge, Immortal Terrace, Liulang Mountain, Crouching Tiger Ridge, South Heaven Gate, Eternal Ice, Phoenix Valley, Alpine Meadow, Cloud Summit Plateau, and the sunrise at Ling Mountain. The vegetation coverage in the area is incredibly rich, reaching 95%.

There are over 190

species of wildflowers and more than 570

varieties of medicinal herbs, along with 36 species of wild animals and 185

bird species, including nationally protected animals such as the pangolin and brown eared pheasant. Vegetation landscapes such as Huanghua Valley, Sea Buckthorn Valley, and Thousand Herb Valley are stunningly beautiful.

Dongling Mountain not only offers breathtaking scenery but also features unique cultural and historical landmarks, characterized by a long history and profound cultural heritage.

Lingyun Temple: Located within the Binggou Scenic Area, pilgrims visiting Lingyun Temple to offer incense and make wishes often stop here to rest and worship devoutly.

Chaoyang Cave: This is the scripture cave of Lingyun Temple, historically little known. Legend has it that the cave houses a large collection of scriptures, with interconnected chambers and mysterious, winding paths.

Tianyu Stone: Also known as the Qi Jiguang Great Wall. The existing ruins are well-preserved, offering significant aesthetic and archaeological value.
