Zhangcun Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Mianchi County. Established as Zhangcun Commune in 1960, restructured as a township in 1984, and upgraded to a town in 1995. Located in the western part of the county, 11 km from the county seat. It covers an area of 52 square kilometers with a population of 20,000. The town administers 11 village committees including Zhangcun, Duji, Henan Zhuang, Anbei, Louquan, Suiqin Village, Jingcun, Gaoqiao, Cao Yao, Sanhuagou, and Sangshuping, as well as three residential committees: Zhangcun, Cao Yao Coal Mine, and Chen Village Coal Mine. The main agricultural products are wheat, corn, and tobacco leaves, with abundant apple production and livestock breeding. Township enterprises are primarily engaged in mining and flour processing.
