Wufeng Mountain Scenic Area: Located in Ren Village Township, Mianchi County, it is 25 kilometers from the county seat and 84 kilometers from downtown Sanmenxia. The scenic area borders Qingyao Mountain Scenic Area in Luoyang to the east, Shaoshan Forest Park to the west, and is also adjacent to Nancun Yellow River Xiaolangdi Scenic Area and Yangshao Grand Canyon Scenic Area. It covers a total area of 42 square kilometers. It mainly includes ten major scenic zones with over a hundred individual sites. The main peak, Fengguan Summit, stands at an elevation of 1,206 meters. Here, sheer cliffs rise sharply and bizarre rocks are strewn across the landscape. Natural attractions such as Twin Dragons Playing with a Pearl, Anle Stockade, Mulan Mountain, General’s Platform, Immortal Chicken Cave, Fengshan Gorge, One-Line Sky, Nine-Dragon Cave, Eagle Beak Mountain, Crouching Tiger Mountain, and a massive natural karst cave are majestic, awe-inspiring, and crafted by nature itself. The area features murmuring streams, competing waterfalls, sweet springs, and fish and crabs playing in the water. Scenic spots like Five-Dragon Pool, Horse-Hoof Spring, Golden Dragon Waterfall, and Guanyin Stream are scattered throughout, making it a long-standing center for multicultural exchange activities. With its mysterious legends, serene Buddhist chants, melodious orchestral sounds, rare local specialties, and fresh air, it is an ideal destination for leisure, vacation, and summer retreats.
