Luoshen Park

- The park is situated in the western part of Lushi County, to the east of the county’s Sanxi Expressway exit, adjacent to the Luo River to the south. It spans 268 mu, features convenient transport links and picturesque surroundings, and is the only natural ecological park in the county. It began initial operations and took shape in 2007. In 2012, it was planned as a 5A-level tourist destination and developed across three phases: Phase one commenced in January 2013, involving a high-standard upgrade of the existing park, expansion and renovation of the original artificial lake, and the addition of a musical fountain and waterside platforms. New facilities such as a swimming pool, water fortress, water cabins, and a children’s playground were built, while pedestrian walkways along the lake, the plaza at the east gate, and overall landscaping and lighting were also significantly improved. The park officially opened to residents on New Year’s Day 2015. Phase two includes the construction of a Folk Culture Exhibition Hall and a shopping street featuring characteristic goods from western Henan. Once fully completed, the project will not only become a flagship attraction for Lushi’s tourism development but also add a vibrant landmark to the urban area, greatly enhancing the quality of leisure and recreational life for local residents.

Chengguan Town is located within the urban area of Lushi County, situated on the northern bank of the Luo River in the central part of the Lushi Basin. It stretches 3.1 kilometers from east to west and 2.7 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 848.54 hectares. The climate features distinct seasons, with relatively short spring and autumn periods and longer winter and summer seasons. The annual average temperature ranges from 12°C to 13.4°C, the average annual precipitation is 692.9 millimeters, and the average annual sunshine duration is 2,118 hours.
