Yanjia Village Five Temples: Due to its long history, Yanjia Village is home to four major clans—the Huyan, Guo, Qiu, and Qiao families—with a sizable population, resulting in a relatively rich temple culture. The village includes the Upper Temple (Earth God Temple), Middle Temple (General Temple), Lower Temple (Fire God Temple), Front Temple (Dragon King Temple), and Rear Temple (Confucius Temple). The Middle Temple enshrines generals such as Huyan Zan, Huyan Pixian, Huyan Shouxin, Huyan Shouyong, and Huyan Qing. The temple is majestic and grand, primarily used for worship by the Huyan clan. The Lower Temple is dedicated to the Fire God, featuring a main hall, side halls on both sides, a square, and a theater stage. The main hall and side halls are adorned with carved beams and painted rafters, with vivid murals inside and out. This was the main venue for village-wide worship and recreational activities, hosting regular temple fairs, theatrical performances, and acrobatics, and was the most popular place of worship. Unfortunately, most of these structures have been destroyed, with only the main hall of the Lower Temple and the Confucius Temple remaining.

Wenyu Township: Wenyu is named after Confucius, who once gave lectures here and led to the establishment of the Confucius Temple. The area is rich in natural beauty and blessed with talented people. To the east lies the site where Lü Ao refined elixirs, which is the origin of the name of Lushi County; to the west is the Shuangmiao Reservoir, where high gorges hold a serene lake like a resting dragon; to the south stands the Bao'du Fortress, a strategic barrier with beautiful scenery; at the center is the Shuiyu River Grand Canyon, with towering cliffs and a narrow strip of sky visible; to the north is Liulin Ancient Ferry and the bell sounds of the South Temple, serving as the gateway to Wenyu. The township covers a total area of 237 square kilometers, governs 32 administrative villages, has 7,748 households and a population of 29,369, with 34,384 mu of arable land.
