Xingguo Temple: Also known as Dinglin Temple or Shanglin Temple, it is commonly called the South Temple. The temple was first built during the Guangshun era of the Later Zhou Dynasty in the Five Dynasties period, around the year 951 AD, flourished during the Taihe era of the Jin Dynasty, around 1201 AD, and has a documented history of over a thousand years to date. Historically, Xingguo Temple underwent several expansions, especially between the first month of the Yiyou year in the Chenghua era and the tenth month of the Xinhai year in the Hongzhi era of the Ming Dynasty, a six-year period during which the renovation of Xingguo Temple reached its peak, making its momentum even more grand and magnificent.

Wenyu Township: Wenyu got its name because Confucius once came here to give lectures and established a Confucian temple. It is a place rich in natural beauty and blessed with talented people. To the east lies the site where Lu Ao refined elixirs, which is the origin of the name Lushi; to the west is the Shuangmiao Reservoir, where a high gorge cradles a serene lake, like a resting dragon; to the south is the protective screen of Bao'du Village, with perilous terrain and beautiful scenery; in the center is the Shuiyu River Grand Canyon, with towering cliffs forming a narrow strip of sky; to the north is Liulin Ancient Ferry and the bell sounds of the South Temple, serving as the gateway to Wenyu. The township covers a total area of 237 square kilometers, governs 32 administrative villages, 7,748 households, and 29,369 residents, with 34,384 mu of arable land.
