Guanhe River Rafting is located in Xixia County, an area of stunning scenery and convenient transportation. The Lao Guanhe River, the main waterway for rafting, originates from Nan Ni Lake in Luanchuan and eventually flows into the Danjiang River in Shuanghe Town, Xichuan County. The main course of the river stretches 254 kilometers, covering a drainage area of 4,219 square kilometers with a total drop of 1,340 meters, making it an ideal destination for rafting. National Highways 311, 312, and 209, as well as the under-construction Ningxi Railway, run through the area. The rafting route spans a total of 38 kilometers, including 19 kilometers of actual water rafting and 19 kilometers of scenic sightseeing, taking about 4 hours in total. Along the way, you’ll encounter numerous breathtaking sights, such as the strikingly lifelike “Elephant Trunk Hill,” the enchanting “Heaven-Reach Cave,” the thrilling yet safe “Golden Toad Beach,” the heart-pounding “Dancing Beach,” and the gentle “Beach Bathing Area.” As your raft speeds along the rapids, waves crash against the boat, stirring up a rush of adrenaline.
