Xixia Yinsugou Ecotourism Area is located in Liping Village, Erlangping Township, northeast of Xixia County, 63 kilometers from the county seat and 19 kilometers from Erlangping Street. It lies to the northeast of the intersection between National Highway 311 and Provincial Highway Yu 51.

The Yinsugou Ecotourism Area boasts two major garden landscapes, three key scenic zones, four spectacular gorges, and five unique peaks. With a viewing area spanning over 80 square kilometers, its exceptional natural scenery and rare tourism elements rank it among China’s most remarkable landscapes—a green kingdom, a natural oxygen bar, and a “living fossil” museum. Its integrated blend of mountains and water, forests and gardens, past and present, culture and nature, elegance and wilderness is truly rare in Central China.

Water: Dozens of kilometers of serene, narrow valleys are lined with ancient trees and rushing streams—river pools, cliffside waterfalls, forest brooks, cascading springs, and layered rock flows merge into a breathtaking spectacle of lakes and falls. Thrilling activities such as water bungee jumping await, while a thrilling over 1,000-meter water slide and an exciting 16-kilometer forest leisure rafting trip offer endless fun.

Forest: The primeval forest zone features undulating mountain ranges, vast sea of woods, towering ancient trees, and rolling green waves. It also includes millennia-old ginkgo groves and the nation’s first GAP-certified dogwood medicinal base by Wan Yao Group... Truly a stunning highlight of Xixia and even the Funiu Mountain region.

Flowers: The scenic area is home to tens of thousands of acres of azalea hills and mulberry valleys, with large quantities, high density, premium varieties, and vibrant colors... In spring, golden dogwood blossoms fill the valley alongside a riot of colorful wildflowers, perfuming the air.

Rocks: Bizarrely shaped rocks and majestic cliffs stand tall, showcasing the delicate beauty of Huangshan Mountain and the grandeur of Huashan Mountain.

Gardens: The ecological landscape garden, millennium ginkgo garden, and Zhongjing Herbal Garden complement each other, exuding endless mystery and charm.

Beyond its natural beauty, the scenic area also offers profound cultural depth: a long history, numerous historical sites, and abundant legends. Attractions such as Huanglong Temple, Yanwang Temple, Lower Temple Nunnery, Upper Temple Nunnery, the Treasure Guardian, and the Silver-Hiding Cave leave visitors in awe and lost in wonder.

The scenic area features uniquely thoughtful human-centered designs, ingeniously crafted ancient architecture, and scenic routes that transition seamlessly by both land and water.
