The Lantian Sesame Town Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Spanning 8,000 acres, the Lantian Sesame Town Scenic Area is an integrated agritainment project that combines agricultural planting, deep processing of agricultural products, farming culture experiences, leisure agriculture sightseeing, study trips, wellness retreats, and elderly care. Anchored by the nationally recognized geographical indication product — white sesame — the area integrates white sesame culture and farming heritage as its foundation. By bringing together natural resources such as pastoral landscapes and green fruit and vegetable picking, it has been developed into an eco-agritainment comprehensive tourism destination. Visitors can enjoy the rural scenery and village atmosphere while immersing themselves in the culture of white sesame and traditional farming, savoring delicious food, beautiful views, and the pleasures of leisure agriculture — all contributing to a relaxing and uplifting sensory experience.

Attractions include: the East and West Gates of the scenic area, China White Sesame Culture Museum, Little Sesame Indoor and Outdoor Educational Playground, Little Sesame Grand Cafeteria Ecological Restaurant, Daily Water Park, Sakura Dream Valley, Eco Grape Picking Garden, Wooden Cottage Commercial Street, Peach Blossom Land, Pear Garden in Spring, Lotus Pond under Moonlight, Farming Culture Park, and Mill Workshop. Future planned developments include: Sesame Old Street, World Sesame Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park, Sesame Flower Hotel, and Wellness Community. The area has already been honored with titles such as National AAA-Level Tourist Attraction, National Key Rural Tourism Village, Henan Province Characteristic Cultural Industry Rural Pilot, National “One Village One Product” Featured Township, and Henan Province Science and Technology Industrial Park.

The scenic area is located 3 kilometers north of the county town, with excellent accessibility, allowing for quick and convenient travel. It boasts highly favorable transportation links and a prominent geographical location.
