The ruins of the Ancient Xichi City are a cultural heritage protection unit of Henan Province.

The ruins of the Ancient Xichi City were once the site of the ancient Xi State during the Zhou Dynasty. On June 20, 1963, the People's Government of Henan Province approved and announced it as one of the first batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units. The ruins are located in Xuzhuang Community, Qiaolou Subdistrict Office, Xixian County, Xinyang City, encompassing four natural villages—Ligang, Zhangzhuang, Jiangzhuang, and Wangzhuang—with a dense population. The site is roughly rectangular in shape, measuring 846 meters from east to west and 420 meters from north to south. Most of the city walls have been leveled, but the rammed earth foundations are still faintly visible. The base of the city walls is 10–30 meters wide, and the perimeter is 2,532 meters. The ruins hold significant historical value for the study of Chu culture.
