Hua Mulan Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Hua Mulan Temple is located in Dazhou Village, Yingkuo Town, about 35 kilometers south of Yucheng County in Shangqiu City, Henan Province. It is a memorial temple dedicated to Hua Mulan and lies 2.5 kilometers from Mulan Station on the Beijing-Kowloon Railway. It is one of the key tourist attractions first designated by the People's Government of Henan Province. The temple in Yucheng County was initially built during the Tang Dynasty and was renovated in the Jin, Yuan, and Qing dynasties. The temple once covered an area of over ten thousand square meters and included a main gate, main hall, offering hall, rear building, and side rooms. Two surviving stone tablets in the temple provide detailed accounts of Mulan’s life, heroic deeds, and the temple’s renovations through the dynasties. For over a thousand years, on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month — Mulan’s traditional birthdate — local officials and elders led the community in paying tribute to honor her spirit and educate future generations. This evolved into a three-day grand temple fair held annually around the eighth day of the fourth lunar month, attracting visitors from a hundred-mile radius across the borders of Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces, who came to worship, trade, and celebrate.
