Yantai Guangren Road Open Port Cultural Tourism Area

The Yantai Guangren Road Open Port Cultural Tourism Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Guangren Road Open Port Cultural Tourism Area is known as the "living fossil" of Yantai's modern architecture. The scenic area is located in a triangular zone enclosed by Jiefang Road and Damalu in Zhifu District, Yantai. It faces the sea to the north, borders Yantai Mountain Scenic Area to the west, and lies adjacent to Yantai’s First Seaside Bathing Beach to the east. The district consists of four parts—Guangren Road, Shizi Street, Gonghe Li, and Chunde Hutong—and features over 30 well-preserved historical buildings covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters.

Address: Intersection of Jiefang Road and Damalu, Zhifu District, Yantai City

By car: 1) Drive approximately 10.4 km along the Shenhai Expressway, turn right toward Zhifu District, enter the ramp, continue straight for 497 m onto G206, drive 102 m east on G206, then enter Zhichu Road. Continue for about 1.6 km on Zhichu Road, then enter the Zhichu Road Overpass. Drive northeast for 201 m, stay on Zhichu Road, continue for about 3.8 km, then enter South Avenue. Drive east on South Avenue for about 4 km, turn left onto Jiefang Road, go straight for 200 m, turn right onto Damalu, drive straight for 50 m, then turn left to enter the scenic area. By bus: In downtown Yantai, take bus 46 or 43 and get off at Yantai Mountain Hospital, then walk 50 m north; or take bus 18, 28, or K61 and get off at Changyu Wine Culture Museum.
