Oriental Sculpture City

Oriental Sculpture City is located 10 kilometers south of Quyang County, covering an area of 9,000 mu (approximately 600 hectares) with a total area of 5.8 square kilometers. It is a comprehensive tourism zone primarily focused on marble sculpture and slab processing, integrating “industry, trade, tourism, and exhibitions.” The carving tradition in Quyang has a long history, featuring exquisite craftsmanship and numerous masterpieces by renowned artists. During the Qing Dynasty, Quyang had already earned the prestigious reputation of “Quyang Stone Carvings Renowned Throughout the World.” Today, the county is home to over 2,000 carving manufacturers, including Xinxin Carving Factory and Lu Jinqiao Carving Factory. Their products are exported to more than 80 countries and regions, making it the largest stone carving and stone material production base in China. It has been officially designated by the State Council as the “Hometown of Chinese Sculpture.” The Oriental Sculpture City scenic area includes famous attractions such as the Sculpture Square, Sculpture Corridor, and Sculpture Art Palace.
