Liansheng Lake Fishing and Recreation Park

Liansheng Lake Fishing and Recreation Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Located in Lujiahe Village, Sangyuan Town, northern Juxian County, Liansheng Lake Fishing and Recreation Park covers a total area of nearly 3,000 mu, with a water surface area of 400 mu and a forest coverage rate of 56%. The park has been preliminarily planned into four major sections: a leisure fishing area, a high-end garden viewing area, a leisure picking area, and a traditional Chinese medicine experience area. It has established bases for fruit and forest tree cultivation, landscaping seedlings, and freshwater aquaculture. The park has planted over 300 mu of apple trees, more than 260 mu of yellow peaches, and over 2,000 mu of flowers and seedlings including magnolia, bougainvillea, and large-leaved privet. Additionally, 200,000 fish fry of various species have been released, achieving a win-win of ecological and economic benefits. In 2010, it was recognized as a “Provincial Model Site for Recreational Fisheries”; in 2012, it was named a “Provincial Modern Fisheries Park”; and by the end of 2016, it was rated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction by the Rizhao Tourism Attraction Quality Rating Committee.

Guided by the development philosophy of “building the village through ecology, establishing its character through culture, and enriching it through tourism,” Liansheng Lake Fishing and Recreation Park strives to create an ecologically rich village where mountains are visible, waters are within sight, and nostalgia can be felt. To date, over 14 million yuan has been invested in constructing a beautiful and civilized rural area, advancing the management of ecological watersheds, and forming a naturally integrated landscape layout that combines mountains, waters, and ecological elements.

To further expand the development space for eco-rural tourism, improve related infrastructure, elevate the construction standards of the fishing and recreation park, and establish unique brands such as “fishing tourism,” “water culture tourism,” and “folk experience tourism,” the park has continued to scale up and upgrade since 2016. Building upon the existing magnolia garden of over 2,000 mu, plans have been made to develop a magnolia wedding photography base, aiming to create the largest magnolia base in northern China. Currently, the park boasts a beautiful ecological environment with picturesque mountains and waters, evergreen scenery throughout the seasons, wildflowers covering the land, and charming lakeside views. Key ecological landscapes and leisure tourism projects such as Liansheng Lake, the Lotus Viewing Pavilion, the Lakeside Park, the Four-Season Orchard, scenic forested areas, and ecological valleys are beginning to take shape. Supporting infrastructure is improving day by day, and a rural tourism resort integrating ecological sightseeing and leisure entertainment is starting to take form.
