The Site of the Ancient City of Licheng is a cultural heritage protection unit of Linyi City.

The Site of the Ancient City of Licheng is located about 200 meters east of Houlicheng Village, which lies 15 kilometers east of the county seat. The site stretches 200 meters from north to south and 100 meters from east to west, slightly elevated above the surrounding area, resembling the shape of an iron griddle, with yellowish-brown earth. Han Dynasty bricks and tiles, as well as pottery shards from the Shang and Zhou periods, can be found on the site’s surface. About half a kilometer to the east and southeast of the site, there were two Han Dynasty tombs, both of which were later leveled for farming. During the leveling, one iron sword and one bronze mirror were unearthed.

About one kilometer southwest of the site, on a ridge, there is a cluster of Han Dynasty tombs, and to the southeast, within Jiangsu Province, there are ruins of an ancient city. According to the Linyi County Annals, in the fourth year of the Yuanshuo era during the reign of Emperor Wu of Han, Liu Ding, the son of Gongwang of Chengyang, was enfeoffed as the lord of a principality here. This site is a Han Dynasty relic and is protected as a county-level cultural heritage site.

Jiaolong Town: Located in southeastern Shandong, Jiaolong Town sits at the junction of three counties and six towns across Jiangsu and Shandong provinces. It is under the jurisdiction of Linshu County and serves as the eastern gateway to Linyi City. The town government is based in Jiaolongwang, which lies 10 kilometers west of the county seat and faces Lianyungang—the eastern bridgehead of the Eurasian Land Bridge—to the east. To the east and west are Lianyungang Baitabu Airport and Linyi Airport respectively.
