Nanjin Farmers' Museum

The Nanjin Farmers' Museum in Linzi District is a microcosm of the historical development and changes in rural folklore in northern China. Established in 2007 and officially opened to the public in 2012, the museum covers a construction area of 5,000 square meters. It serves as an education base for caring about the next generation and a revolutionary tradition education base for youths, and is open to the public free of charge year-round. It is the first museum in the province to systematically introduce rural transformation and the life of farmers. The museum collects and exhibits cultural heritage rich in regional characteristics, living cultural features, and collective memory. These include vernacular architecture, neighborhood heritage, agricultural heritage, farming techniques and labor processes, as well as traditional clothing, folk customs and rituals, and festive traditions, achieving comprehensive and authentic preservation of cultural heritage and rural memory.
