Xiaohan Site

The Xiaohan Site is located two kilometers north of Xiaohan Village in Shangdian Town, Yangxin County. The site features a gentle slope, slightly elevated above the ground, covering an area of approximately 65,000 square meters with a cultural deposit thickness of about 1.5 meters. Artifacts collected include a clam-shell red pottery tripod from the Dawenkou Culture period, clay red pottery bowls, small-necked twin-handled pots, clay gray pottery three-legged tall-stem cups, painted pottery jars, as well as sand-tempered red pottery from the Longshan Culture period, and sand-tempered gray pottery cord-marked li tripods, clay gray pottery dou vessels, and basins from the Shang and Zhou dynasties. It is a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit.
