Mount Moha

Mount Moha is located 15 kilometers southwest of Zouping County and is the highest peak of the Changbai Mountain Range in Shandong. The Changbai Mountain Range can be divided into the Moha Mountain Group, the Baiyun Mountain Group, and the Huixian Mountain Group based on the location of their main peaks. The Moha Mountain Group, with Mount Moha as its principal peak, is the largest mountain group in the Changbai range. The main peak, Moha Summit—also called Mohu Summit—stands at an elevation of 826.8 meters, towering majestically above the surrounding peaks with a striking and elegant presence. It is encircled by rolling mountains that stretch out in all directions. The entire Moha Mountain Group extends in a southeast-northwest direction, spanning approximately 10 kilometers in length and covering an area of about 40 square kilometers. Like a towering, dark-green barrier rising abruptly from the earth, it stretches across the southern part of Zouping County, forming a natural boundary between Zouping and Zhangqiu counties.
